Over 40? Why Trying Harder Is Getting You Crushed in Jiu-Jitsu

You’re giving everything on the mat. Every. Single. Round. And you’re still getting crushed. That was me. For longer than I want to admit.

I started Jiu-Jitsu at 43 and thought the answer was to try harder, move faster, push through. It made things worse ― until a blue belt said two words that changed everything.
